I.D. 2 Hitchhickers

Had a few Aiptasia during cycle, but Joe's juice seemed to have taken care of them all. Need an I.D. on the white threads - there are a few of them throughout the tank & also what is the the critter with the around the corner in the 2nd. picture (that was the best picture I could get). It only comes out at night.

First picture looks like hydroids, cant see anything in the second.

whatever it is it's in the middle of the picture with clear/white threads or arms going in all directions about 2-3 inches

#1 I believe it to be a "carribean mushroom" as Bang Guy calls them. Maybe Bang Guy can chime in??

spaghetti worms bad or beneficial?

Spaghetti worms are good things to have.
Hydriods are not....though I really don't believe they are hydroids. Hydroids kinda look like polyps of some type...what you have pictured doesn't look like it to me.

Spaghetti worms can be an irritant if it constantly drags itself over a coral. But other than that they are harmless.
Hydroids, are not harmless and can sting... but I can't see enough of the first pic to honestly say I know what it is. Hydroids is not the first thought that entered my head.

I'll try to get a better picture, trouble is it is between the rock & the back of the tank.

The white threads look like some kind of hydroid if im seeing it correctly ,could be wrong.

nah, first pic is that clear coral... of which i can never remember the name but needs to be fed.

Does the first picture have little white balls on the ends of the tentacles?
My first thought was Pseudocorynactis sp., a ball anemone.

My second thought would be a hidden cup coral Phyllangia americana,.

Mine looks more like the second picture. It has been pretty shy lately & can't get another pic. About to bye an underwater camera.
