I DON'T KNOW,WHAT HAPPENED!!

Any ideas,when i woke up this morning,my clown
was dead,the domino damsel has lost his color,
and my powder blue looks like he has wiskers
all over is body.All of my test are,the same
as the last check.
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 10
Ph 8.1
Calcium 460
Any ideas on what's going on,Thank-You

have you been adding extra trace elements,if so maybe too much..just a thought

Have you made any changes in the tank lately? Adding LR, fish, or other critters. I woud do a water change ASAP, and quarentine remaining fish. Sorry to hear of the those.

Yes i have been adding extra trace elements,so
i'll cut it back,i use a mixture of everything
that is needed,i have been going buy the directions,one teaspoon for every 50 gallons
every day,doesn't say fot how long,i have only
been doin this for 2 weeks.How often do you
recommend.But i do thing that if you can add
to much than this is my problem.So how do i fix
it.Thank-You

Hi,
What type of water are you using for water changes? If you are using tap water, even through a filter, you could have metal contamination. This could explain the sudden die off, it takes a while for the metals to build up the levels needed to be fatal. Just a shoot in the dark, but have heard of it happening. I would do a big water change with RO/DI water to get whatever is going on back under control. Just my .02

Why are you adding trace elements? Do you have a reef tank?
You need to give more details about what you are seeing on this fish. What do the sick fish look like, the skin condition? Is it raised bumps within the skin or bumps attached to the skin? How is the fish breathing? Are the gills swollen, red? Labored breathing?
Do you have a hospital tank?
