just mess around with it, eventually youll find something you like. trust me, ive probably rescaped my tank 500 times in the ast 2 years. once you get a little more rock and maybe some coral (if you plan on going reef) im sure it will come together for you.

I like the look of it, it looks like a good base to build off of. You could add some pieces of branch rock and some shelf rock and it will really look great.

I have a nano 24g and I've changed mine so many times, I've lost track. I've had it set up since November '07, and still not happy with it. Looks like you need more rock though.
On one side of your tank, I'd put 3 of your smallest rocks in the form of a triangle (with a point facing the front of the tank) and put a large one on top of them so it makes a cave. Rocks in front will add more depth.
I try to arrange my rocks so the most amount of light hits them, because thats where corals (and coralline) will grow.

Find a local reef club, or a someone on here that is selling rock locally, you can usually get it for around 2.75$ a lb rather than 6$. I got 21 lbs of beautiful coraline covered rock for 60 dollars, that would have cost me 140 in a store.
