I fed my fish banana... and they loved it?

So dumb. I was walking past my fish tank, bit drunk, banana in my hand, and it was time to feed my fish. I pinched off a piece and mushed it in my fingers in the tank. I have a Couple clowns, a sailfin tang, a hippo tang, midas blenny, a mandarin goby, a few fire fish, and a sleeper goby. EACH AND EVERY ONE went nuts. After that I put a bit of food into the tank just in case they were still hungry, and they didnt eat it. They got full off of the banana. Is what I did okay? Its just potassium and it was an organic banana so it shouldnt be too bad.. Right? .... Let me know.

Definitely not okay. A dog might eat and love chocolate but it doesn't mean that they should eat it. The same is true of fish and people food. Keep a close eye on those fish. Incidentally if you are prone to doing such things when you drink, it might be time to give it up.
