Lunar Wrasse- these fish get large. We never really had a problem with ours inn our reef though. We sold ours back to the lfs, kinda miss him, he was very active, I can understand you having a hard time catching him...Congrates! Lisa

This guy is the fastest grower in my tank. I watch this guy get larger and larger by the week. A few months and mine will probably go to the LFS. My dad has a big enough tank for him, but already told he wouldn't want 'em...
I'll post, for anyone in the area before i give back to LFS.
He actually has been getting aggresive towards my clown and niger... He's fine with the others.....

Most say its not reef safe...but you never know from fish to fish. I have a rock with mushroom anemones on it and it doesn't bother them. They also get up to a foot long in the wild. Mine is close to 4"s now.

My lunare is notorius for eating hermit crabs. He is however, the lowest on the fish in the pecking order in my tank. Funny fish, mine always buries himself at the same time every night.

Definately a Lunare and I wouldnt recommend a reef tank if you have any kind of crab or shrimp cleanup crews. Nothing a Lunare likes better than fresh crab or shrimp. They also like to rearrange the substrate to their liking.
