i got a problem i think

were the coraline is on the back of my tank it is turning red what is this

coraline algae can be lots of different colors. do you have any pics? is it the same texture as the coraline algae or is it slimy or bubbly looking?

looks like the start of some cyano. thin layer of red film slime algae on the glass. check your nitrates and phosphates to see what they are. you can lower your nitrates through water changes. no worry though...we all go through it some time. make sure you don't overfeed your tank. is your tank heavily stocked?
