I got a small free tank. Can i use it for anything?

Its a 5 gallon acrilic octogon. i bought a nice little filter for it just now. Can i use it to qt? or is it too small for even that?

you can use it to Qt small fish. Just add some pieces of pvc for them to hide in.
You could also do a nano.

I think it would be a great quarantine for small fish. Coffee mugs work wonders for small caves and hiding spaces if you don't want to use PVC.

ur main tank is a 55 so its not like ur gonna be adding 6"+ fish to ur tank....sounds like a lil qt tank to me....
Honestly though id end up turning it into a nano lol
My "frag tank" ended up being a full blown reef tank and has a lil frag rack in it! LOL
