I got a virus from this site!!!!

I opened a link last night to report it, and yep my first infection. something new I guess.... I'm running dual virus programs...Watch out and update...

I would think SWF would have their antivirus stuff in line, my computer is running but it is ready to =crash. It turns off instantly.....My advise dont report or click on any unknown thread or disaster will strike....

I don't think you got a virus from this site.
sounds like you clicked on a link that took you to anoher website that infected your computer.
DO NOT click on suspicious links, just report them to us.

Don't worry, I've gotten them, just get mcafee for $70.00, it cleaned my computer from about 600 unwanted programs (short for viruses spam, trojans etc.)
It was the p O rn sites wasn't it? XD

curiosity killed the cat. ahaha usually the virus is just in your temporary internet files. delete that first. then scan. no prob. some scanners cant even delete the temp file for some reason but the int options can.

If you know how..You can write virus to bypass Norton, Mcaffe, Panda, TrendMicro, etc...It all in how to write it in the first place..

I just use the AVG free edition. Downloaded it for free about 2 years ago, never had a problem. I've had some of the expensive ones in the past and still managed to get viruses, but so far so good. Touch wood...

There are many parasites attached to web sites and other links . It will seem like it is from a certain site , but in fact it was attached to the site and waiting for someone to open the link .

duplicate thread in the aquarium so I will close this one.
I would like to say that it wasnt SWF.com website any spam link can take you to a site that is malicious and should NOT BE clicked on for many many different reason. You do not have to open the link to report the post just the post itseld not the link that it directs you too.
