I got bit today

how wierd is this, today i was scraping off my front glass
and when i got near the mushrooms that my false perc's call home
the bigger one shot right out and bit me in the knuckle,
not just once but three diffrent times.
i've had these fish for two years + and they have never done this
is this normal or do i have strange fish ???

my dragon wrasse isn't afraid of my hand at ALL. he seriously would let me pet him if I wanted to. swims around the surface like a shark, with his "cowlick" fins sticking out of the water like an inch lol. He bites me all the time. Fish are animals. Animals bite.

I have come to the conclusion that my flame hawk is faster then a speeding bullet...no sooner does my hand break the top of the water...pow!!! First time it happened I almost soiled myself.

Out of my lion, trigger, clown and blue devil damsel, the damsel is the only one who bites.

it just kinda caught me off guard, actually it kinda hurted,
not much at all, less than a mosquitto bite,
but more than i thought it would from a 2 1/2 clown fish
my girlfriend laughed

My damsels and clowns do this especially when they are spawning and such. You might look for eggs.

yea thats normal. wear vinyl gloves. you will find them in the cleaning isle next to the gloves for doing dishes. 10 per pack for like $3.

Google image search for 'percula eggs', etc.
You may have eggs, and you may not, but it struck me since you said you'd never experienced this kind of aggression before. It's not all that uncommen for clownfish, either.

i'll have to find out if i gotta get cigars in the morning
we're gonna get 10 - 13 inchs of snow tomorrow so i gotta do it in the morning

no you don't
snow sucks, its cold, windy, and kills your back shoveling out the driveway.
anyway ...... i googled the eggs and WOOO HOOOO we got eggs.
now I know why I got attacked
