I have a 55 gallon tank with a TEK lights 6x54 watt T5HO fixture
Out of
54W Pure Actinic 03 T5 HO Fluorescent (Giesemann)
54W Actinic Plus T5 HO Fluorescent (Giesemann)
54W Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent (ATI)
54W Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent (ATI)
54W Actinic Plus T5 HO Fluorescent (Giesemann)
54W 12000K Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent (ATI)
54W 12000K Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent (ATI)
54W 75/25 14000K AquaBlue T5 HO Fluorescent (UV lighting)
54W 10000K AquaSun T5 HO Fluorescent (UV lighting)
(i have 9 bulbs but can only use 6)
which 6 bulbs should i use and which combination should i use?

Hey JDL I pretty much have the same fixture(48" nova x pro) and Im looking to upgrade, but would what you recommend be too blue??

possibly, i dont have any geissman bulbs so i am not sure. I just picked the ones i would try if i had those 9 to pick.
I use these in my NEP.

i was thinkin about doing this
would another aquablue special be better than the 75/25?

new bulbs

stock bulbs
it really isnt as blue as it looks, however it is more blue then the stock bulbs. But then you can easily remove one of the blue ones for something purple or red or white to suite your taste. My toadstools are massive now compared to the stock bulbs and so are the zoas and frogspawn.
