I Have A Question About Tang Growth

I am planning on getting a bigger tank for my Powder Blue Tang once me and my fiancee get a bigger apartment.
My question is:
How long does it take for a Powder Blue or any Tang to get really big.....to full size if you will......if I am fairly modest with my feeding and light time......I'm just curious how big this powder blue will get and how long it will take.

I've had my PB for 1 1/2 years and he's grown about 1 1/2 inches. An inch a year seems about right for the PB.His total length is about 6 inches now and I don't expect he'll grow larger than 7-8 inches in the coming years. Great and beautiful fish. By the way the fastest growing tang I own is the Sohal. He's grown at least 2 inches in 10 months.
