I ordered a Reef package whats the best way to acclimat them? All at the same time in the same box? Is a drip needed or just a float for temp?
Thanks

In general, I think drip acclimation is the best method. Check each invertibrate on the SWF site (like you are shopping) and it will tell you how long to acclimate. If it says just temperature acclimate, just do that. If it gives a length of time, drip acclimate for the amount of time. Significant changes in temp, SG and PH can kill inverts if the change is quick, so follow the SWF advice. Watch their acclimation video too. One thing I do is check the SG and PH of the water in the bags to see how much they differ from my tank water and from one another. The bigger the differences, the longer and slower the acclimation drip should be. I usually drip acclimate the occupants of each bag separately. They must send them in separate bags for a reason. Not really sure if acclimating them together them raises issues. Hope this helps.

hi i am new and i kind of made my own way of acclimating..
1. i place the bag in the aquarium
2. i polk a hole in the bay ( with a tac or clothes pin)
3. every 10 minutes squeze the bag the bag water will go out and the aquarium water will go in

the only problem bout this is the bag water goes in the aquarium iv never had any problems
