I have an idea....

Ok would it be possible to make a sort of bridge between two tanks out of pvc? I mean i know it is possible, but im sort of lost at how to get all the air out of the pvc between the two tanks so that fish could swim between the two tanks. imagine two ten gallons with a peace of pvc that comes out the top of one, turns, then goes to the other and turns again. Once the water is actually in the pvc it would be pretty easy to keep it there, and it would make both tanks have an equal amount of water. And it wouldn't flood becuase they would both be dt tanks, set up at the same level. It would just be an interesting design and give the fish more space to move around. Its also a decent way to make a uniquely larger tank for people who are poor (me... lol). I was thinking get a wet dry vac and sticking it underwater up the pipe and let it use suction to suck out most the air. I am pretty sure i could get out 95% of the air that way, and maybe have a bleeder valve on top to get the rest out with a air stone pump or something. So if you can make this work, or have even seen this done, please post up.

My friend sent me a pic of a company that does that. It took round spheres and connected them using clear pipe. It was WILD! I'm sorry I don't have the pic!
