I miss my old man. Losing ones father is hard to take and I have very little to say that will comfort you other than the fact that it will get better with time.
If there is anything we can do to help you out, please let us know.
Prayerfully
Phil

Oh one more thing, I lost my dad 5 years ago to complications from Diabetes and I was 34 at the time. It was hard because I wish we spent more time together.

Sorry to hear it Oscar...I never really have the right things to say at these times as if there are really any. But if I was there, I would give ya a big hug. Not like a gay hug or anything, just a hug.
All we can do is remember them, look up and talk to them once in a while, and continue to try to make them proud.
I hope you can find some comfort in the fact that there are alot of people out there, that you don't really know, that care.

oh Oscar. I'm so, so sorry to hear. Know that people are thinking of you.
and also know that it's ok to be upset right now. and it's ok to be upset tomorrow, and the next day, and for as long as it takes until you start to feel it less. then you can start to treasure the memories. for now, you're allowed to be a mess.

I've been through recently (over a couple year period) with 3 close family members.
It will get better, trust me. Just takes time.
Hang in there
