sunday 1/8/6 i fragged my xenia forest and i have 12 nice size frags that i want to get rid of. i would love to trade for some frags of other stuff. i only have 260 watts pc on my 55 gal, so no sps or clams. another thing, i will not ship. xenia does not ship well, especially in the cold weather. i tried it once already and it didnt make it. so, anybody who wants some has to make a drive. i live in galloway, nj (atlantic county) about 15 minutes north of atlantic city. the frags should be attatched to the rocks in about a week or so.

How did your Xenia frags work out? Did you get them all back or lose any? I am about to do my first Xenia frag this weekend. Check out this site great info about fragging Xenia. They have a short 60 second video showing how to do it. Scroll down the left side to where it says "How to-Movies" http://www.garf.org/

i had 12 frags and the way i fragged them was i sliced them off of the main colony, then i used the toothpick and rubberband method to attatch them to another rock. 6 of the frags pulled their stalks off of the toothpicks and just shredded themselves to pieces. in the past the way i fragged was just to put rocks in the path of the xenia and let them grow. but this time the xenia was starting to crowd my toadstool and cabbage leather so i just took the main xenia colony out and started to slice and dice. i have a total of 6 frags left, and if i lose them also, i am not worried about it. xenia grows so quickly that ill probably have a huge colony again in about 6 months. but we will see if these last frags stay good and healthy and attatch to the rocks they are fastened to. i know a better method of fragging is to use a piece of netting, but i was impatient and didnt have any netting laying around, so......
