YAY got a new Aquapod 24 with the 64w light.. This is my cherry popper into reef tank.. i got a crappy 70g fowlr in wall type..
i wanted the 150W but i couldnt not pass up this deal i found in craigslist.
24g with stand
30# sand
20# live figi.
tunzi 6045
refractometer
2 fishes
10 hermits, 5 snails
4 feather dusters, 1 mushroom..still havent seen him come out yet? what should i be looking for when he does to evaulate his condition?
4 months of maturity - mean no waiting for stupid cycling!!!! best part
i will post pics as soo i get up later this afternoon..
btw i noticed that the temps are kinda high...like 84+
i know there is a mod to add a fan in the hood.. i have no idea about inverters and stuff.. someone explain how to do this in more detail.. with a material list.. thanks..
ps.. any guessing on how much i paid for it?

Na, way to much.

Sounds like a nice set up. Definately will need to figure out how to lower the temp. The mushroom depending on type, size, color etc. will look like a round flat fleshy disk.

definitly an amazing deal for me..
i think i see the mushroom now.. itss kinda flattened out to the size of a quarter and a half.. its boring though.. no color or anything on it..oh well..
ok now to stock this thing!!!

ps. is it worth it to buy frags or just get the entire colony of certain things like zoos? i mean like how soon before 1 zoo divides into 2? im guessing everyone is gonna say depends on ur tank.. but just ballpark it please upon ur experience.. thanks everyone..
