i just got a new light

I just got a coralife 50/50 is is 40 watt 50%natural daylight 600k and 50% actinic 03 blue is this ok for my 75 fowlr

it seems to be a little bit brighter than the standard 40 watt the tank came with, but what can i put to make it a bit brighter or more blue, the one i have now is 48 inch and takes up the whole top of my tank in the hood with the filter in the back and me having to lift the front of the glass top for feeding

The only way to add more light is to get more bulbs or more powerfull bulbs like PC, VHO, or MH.
The bulb you have is OK but having 1 50/50 bulb over a 75 will not light the tank up like it should.
Seriously consider adding more light. You will be much happier with the way the tank looks.

what should i add and how because the 50/50 i have now takes up most of the top of the tank in with the hood the bulb is in, how and what kind of light should i get
