They should be here Thursday and I can't wait!!!!!!!!
I have hatched brine shrimp and just got a cool hatchery that I bought off the internet. I added the eggs I had going to it and already have brine in the collectors

Going to head to the lfs this evening to get a couple more hitching posts.

I still have to get a cover for the filter intake and a background for the tank.

Yep!!! I would add more hitching posts. The more hitching posts you have the easier it is for the ponies to cruise around. Other than that it looks GREAT!!!

Yes it is
I know that the bio wheels aren't the best and I plan on changing that out soon, I have seen another filter that I like I just need to do some research on it.

Mrs Rykna sent me 14 for xmas!!!! She is the BOMB!!!!!

And I have just had my second batch of babies

I am going to upgrade them to a 10g soon but Im afraid I wont be able to find them all

LMK how it works out for ya

Yes they come tomorrow and I can't wait to get them!! I know I am going to love them. Seahorses and sea turtles are my fav sea animals.
Sounds like you are a great mommy with 2 batches already! I am looking foward to raising little ones too
They are my Xmas present from my hubby, he said get them if you want them and then I don't have to shop. Thats 2 years now he has got out of shopping, he was in Iraq last year so I got to shop for myself then too--- I do good shopping!

Rykna is the bomb, she has gave me tons of great info!

I bought one off the internet that a guy makes. It seems like it is going to be good, I had started eggs in a jar just to see if I could hatch them and then added that the the hatchery when I got it and it sucked the brine right out. The eggs areate(sp???) in a bucket then after 24h a plate goes on top of the bucket and 2 small bottles (filled with water and holes in the lids) goes in holes in the plate. Squeeze the bottles a tiny bit and point a light at them and the baby brime goes right up into the bottles for easy harvest! Sounds crazy, I know I thought so but the guy has great feedback where I got it and I got it to work so..... I have a new batch going right now so they have fresh food when they arrive tomorrow!

Im got a hatchery off the internet that I had used previously and it just doesnt seem to be working as well this time so I have mine in a vase and I just add new eggs every day or so and Ihave several diff size bbs it is kinds neat.
Good luck with them today & I cant wait to see pics!!!!

Just sent you the link, I didn't say that it was the cheaper one that I got.
Will try to get picks up later, my filter quit working on my tank so I have to go get another one

looks good! might want to cover that intake for your filter if you're using it or and little ones will get sucked in or stuck to it...just a little black sponge prefilter would do

I bought an Elite submersible filter for now. There is no cut outs on the back of my light hood so this one was great for me. I am going to have my hubby look at cutting a section off in the back so I can get a hang on back if the one I bought turns out to be bad.
They are here!!!! They are moved in and taking a nap. I have pics but the batteries in my camera died before I could get them on my computer so I have to wait a while to post :-(
