Nice job. It's not easy to hang it out there and write an article (I know from experience). A new aquarist who reads that and follows the advice will save themselves a lot of trouble.

I dunno if it was folks being "mean" that I was referring to, but ya never know who's gonna be reading it, and sometimes, it's tuff to write in a clear, concise manner that doesn't put peeps to sleep. It's also tuff to know just how in-depth to go (know your audience), what to include, what to remove, what just doesn't "read well", etc.
Of course, my ace in the hole is Renee...her opinion and knowledge "keeps me honest", and all her great photos take the readers' minds off of any shortcomings the text may have. Then again, when she writes something, I get to keep HER honest...
