I know horses graze, but what about seahorses??

I often see the boys nipping something off the back aquarium wall where I let the algae grow. What exactly do you think they're are feeding on?? The algae itself?Or pads that live in the algae?Or maybe a combination?? :thinking:

I don't know enough (yet) about seahorses, but my guess would be a bit of both? IDK...

Ok, thanks for the thoughts...I sure wish the was more info about these awesome fish. Most info I can find is written in Marine Biology books that have info that is way out of my league. :happyfish

Seahorses are carnivores (meateaters all the way). They are snicking pods or other marine bugs out of the algae. Celebrate, beacause that is a great sign!
