I need a camera

I need a digital camera, and my B-day is coming up. I'd like for some info on some of these cameras yall have. I've seen some perty nice picsposted on here. I know Sammy has one hell of a camera. ABOUT how much did that one run you sammy? I don't need a 8 million quality, mabe something like 3-5. ANY info is appreciated. THANX!!

canon powershots are good cameras. the quality is pretty good, and the options to do with the pix are good.
