I need a cool algea eatin critter

Is there a cool crab that I can use to climb my live rock and eat the green hairy algae? I am assuming I want this stuff eaten and I dont have a lot . . .yet. I also dont want my feather duster eeaten or my other inhabitants unduly harrassed. Any input?

Most hermits will eat algea. You have to keep it trimmed or they won't touch it. Snails also feast on the stuff.

We have emerald crabs and they keep the algae down, and don't disturb anything else in the tank.
