I've posted a question titled " bacterial infection..any suggestions? " if you scroll down you'll find it, but when I open it all I see is someone elses post from last year! This is the second time this has happened to a post I tried to put out, is there any reason for this? Something anyone can look into or try to fix? I don't know if my name or something is somehow linked to this other guy...? It's kinda weird now that it's happened twice...can you help here? Thanks...

Oh. Okay... Thanks Beth. Nope, I guess my question didn't get posted. Thanks for responding. It had to do with my little green chromis that has ( I think ) a bacterial infection. My tank is still cycling ( ammonia is between 1.0 - 2.0, nitrite is at 10 and nitrates seem to be starting to show )Anyway, this brown spot began to grow just above his dorsal fin and just outside the gill. It's now a raised fungus looking thing but from what I've read fungal infections are white? This is still brown. Any ideas? Anyway, I don't have a hospital tank up & running yet and was wondering if I should treat with maracyn2 while the tank is cycling. Will it affect anything else in the tank? I've got two other green chromis & a small peice of Live rock with some life on & in it...what do you think? Ever heard of this before? He's eating & swimming normally...Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks again
