can someone please tell me a good place to buy bulbs for my coralife aqualite? It is 48" and requires straight pin bulbs. My lfs told me everyone is going to the square pin style. Is there an endcap mod I can buy?

They do make adapters, check on the big aution site, you may be able to find them there. Also, check out some of the bigger online fish stores, I can't say on here with out violating the board policy of competitors. Thanks man is it true that everyone is going to the square pin style? Also how do the adapters install?

I don't know if everyone is, but it seems the square are more popular. The adapter should just fit(plug) onto the bulb, then just plug the bulb/adapter in like normal. It will make the bulb a little longer, may be a problem if there is no extra room for length in your fixture, not sure what you have. Good luck, let me know if I can help with anything else.

I have a coralife aqualite 48" there is about 1 3/4" between the bulbs. it has 4 65 w. bulbs (2 actinic and 2 10k )
