First, with your trigger. There's a medicine that is reef safe to help with parasites and diseases. Sorry, I forgot what it is called, but your lfs will know. As far as the algae. I have a problem with mine too. Are you using tap water or RO water? How long do you keep your lights on. How often and how much do you feed your fish and corals? I wouldn't do water changes twice a week. That's way too much. That's a another reason why there's too much algae. Your phosphate level can be high. Do water changes once a month or none at all. I only add water to my 35g reef.

I would also be sure to soak their foods in zoe / zoecon to help them strengthen their immune system. Sure couldn't hurt any! :)

Ruby Reef product called Kick ICH. I swear by it now!!!! as far as your algea problem sounds like high Nitrates. This may also be causing your diseases with your fish. A fishes immune system depends on alot of factors including water quality and food. As stated earlier zoe is a good addative but I would also use some garlic from you LFS also.. The garlic paste added to your food boosts their immune system in the same way it does ours. Now I do not know if fish sweat but I have wondered if their slime coating does not excret this garlic warding off the parasites. I know it works on the ladies though, They always run from the garlic breath! :)
