I did a 25% water change on my 180g as a always do. But this time the water turned to milk and the ammonia level got real high. I put all my fish in different tanks, cause they are pretty sensitive. This morning when i tested the water, the ammonia is off the charts. This has always been a stable tank, why the sudden crash? What can i do to fix it, need to get the fish back in.

Nothing has died?

What exactly was in the tank?

What type of saltmix and what kind of bin to mix it in?

What are the other test readings?

A very big water change...and run carbon should help. We still need to find out the WHY.
