so recently I added a porcupine puffer with my two triggers and he killed one im very sad coz I loved that fish :'(
so knowing that the puffer is so aggressive, and VERY territorial (and I overall am just not enjoying him other than his cute smiley face) I wouldn't be able to add any other fish, or snails or anything.
So im kinda planning on getting rid of him and getting a flame angel or yellow tang to go with my Niger trigger who is about 3'' ...
how does that sound?

he seems like a peaceful fish, do you think he would kill a flame angel, or nassarious snails?
(iv herd many people have had success with nigers in reef tanks, so I would assume they may be able to be kept with snails as long as they are fed well....which he is :)

No they are crustacean eaters and fish eat all the time, they are forever hungry. There are other critters that can make up the CUC...serpent stars stay in the rocks, urchins are awesome algae eaters, then to move the sand....cucumbers or sand sifting stars. Just do a little homework to find the right combo that can get along with your tank critters. Also always make sure you have enough for the CUC to eat or they will starve, so build up slow to make sure everyone is happy and healthy.

It seems that your largest tank is a 55g. The majority of your fish are too large or will grow to be too large for that size tank. Tangs need at least a 4ft long tank to be happy as they get stressed very easy and will develops ich.
Always learning.

this is what i propose. get rid of the trigger and get the flame angle. and also get rid of the puffer if it is killing other fish. you can keep the trigger for a while then you would haft to get rid of it.

flame angles need a lot of live rock. i would recomend at least 25 pounds of live rock. and when you get the fish be prepared for it to hide for the first week or so. but they are very pritty fish
