I need info on Porc puffers

OK im new in these boards so please help me out. I've been reading forums and found that alot of people like porc puffers. First of all what does porc mean?? Where could I find info on it and would it fit in my 50 gallon tank?? Its not a reef btw. Ohh and since im on the subject can anyone tell me about Bluespoted Puffers or where to find info on them?? Thx alot.

Welcome to the board. your gonna love it here. Porc stands for porcupine it is in the puffer family. They are very cute and have personalities of their own. I just got one and I love him. You can find a lot of information on the net but your best bet is to wait here for pufferlover. He is one of our puff experts and he loves giving information. It was he who helped me decide to get the porcupine and I am very grateful.

justin: you are a person after my own heart a Pufferlover (I love using that line forgive me). For lots of Puff info click on my homepage (the little man by the little house) and you will have a chance for lots of Puff stuff. I'll tell you one thing once you get one you will never be without one or two or more (if you have enough tanks) they are delightful fish that need a bit of care in the beginning but on the whole they are not expensive, live to 9 years average in a tank, and will eat you out of house and home if you let them lol.
