I need liverock, but have no way to cure MO liverock

I have a 55 gal. FO with a small 3 pound piece of live rock I bought when I setup the tank. Right now the only thing in my tank is a small Blue Hippo Tang, 10 turbo snails, and the 3# rock. I would like to get a ot more live rock and was thinking of ordering a 45lb box online. Live rock is $7 a pound around here and I can get it much cheaper online. The problem is I have read that you still have to cure the rock a couple weeks due to the things that may die during shipping. The 55 gal is the only tank I have. What should I do?

To cure 45 lbs of rock you will need more room than a 10 dollar container will give you.Use one or two large(NEW)plastic trash cans instead...

I brought my LR online and i just put it in there they guy told me to just put it in there not to worry about it and so far its been fine it came with alot of life lots of feather dusters and even 3 tiny crabs I got a great price for the corraline at 30lbs for $129 usd delivered..

Adding that much online rock into your tank at onece is taking a real chance.Even moderate dieoff could throw a tank into a recycle that could kill of most of your livestock...I'd say you got lucky.....I would never add that much rock into my tank unless I got it locally,and was 100% sure it was fully cured...
