i need powerhead help

i have a 75 gallon fowlr tank, on one side i have an emperor 400 and just got a maxi-jet ph powerhead mp 1200 and i was just wondering where and what direction should place the waterflow and how high should i set the control

I have two smaller power heads, I'm unsure about thier size. I keep one in each of the lower back corners. the one on the emp400 side is pointed diagonal (45 deg) towards the middle of the tank, and the larger on the other side pointed towards front at about 80 deg. this seems to work really well for me.

I would place this powerhead in the rear corner that is furthest away from the filter.Place it near the top of the tank,and point it at the center of the front glass.Start with the setting at it's lowest,and slowly(every hour or so)increase the flow till you notice a good GENTLE current in the tank.Too much current is almost as bed as not enough.....

Mr Salty, should I move mine higher towards the surface? I have a seclone spillout at the surface.

ok i now have it at the far corner on the rear side of the tank, i have it near the top of the water and it is blowing to the front top center of the tank,now should i change the degree of the blower ,i know have it parallel to the top of the water

actually, you should not have jets of bubble shooting out of your PH in cycles;could mean that might need to be cleaned or that you simply need some kind of adjusting

i think it was because it was new, it is fine now but back to placement, i have it shooting to at the top center of the front glass,is that ok and now how far under the water should i put it
