I have 1 Fiji Puffer, 1 Picasso Trigger, 1 Colt Coral(Cladiella, leather), a few differnt species of polyps, 1 Sebae Aemone. My aemone is white with some brown areas, I can not get it to eat. I bought it 1/15. It will expand and contrast, which is normal. I guess. My Cladiella does not seem to be doing well. It looks wilted. What can I do to improve? Paras are all were the should be. Help please

Please post your actual water parameters. What is your setup like, including filtration, flow, and lighting? What does the sebae do when you try and feed it? What have you tried to feed it? Where is the cladiella, and what is near it?

Nitrate is 40, Ammonia is 0.0, Nitrite is 0.2-2, temp is 79-81, medium water flow, lighting is 1 coral life 40 watt true actinic, 40 watt 10,000k high intensity purified super daylight lamp, 1 whisper filter(right size for the tank), 1 remora skimmer, not sure about go the wet/dry system, and I dont know what else... The sebae looks not so good; it seems to have a large brownish/blackish lump and some stringy substance around its tenticles. When I try to feed the aemone, it will grab the food and then after a min. or so it will let it go. It tends to go to waste b/c nobody else will eat the squid. My cladiella looks alright. The cladiella is in front of the tank by the whisper. I think I might have to maybe increase the water flow from the whisper to help it mange.

Your water quality is terrible for an anemone and sebeas are very sensitive and need high lighting, your lights will not support it, take it back to a lfs. Your lighting is very minimal, probably not even enough for the leather but your fish list is unsafe around corals anyways so I wouldn't add anymore to this tank. Puffers and triggers love to munch on them.

The fish dont eat/bother the soft coral or the aemone. I am lucky for that. The aemone has opened up, it started to eat food, just not the squid. The Cladiella is doing good, it is starting to branch off. I think everything just needed a little time.... If I am wrong please feel free to educate me... I want everyone to happy and healthy.... So every little bit will help
