is the only main thing that a blenny eats is copepods or is there something else

Sure you're not thinking of mandarins? Scooter blennies only eat copepods but real blennies like bicolors or lawnmowers graze algae and will also eat meaty foods. My bicolor loves formula 1 and I see him grazing here and there.

Blenny's and Dragonetts are often catorgorized in the same famlily. While they maybe relatives their needs are not the same. Dragonetts are pod eaters, exclusivly. While some blenny's are too, there are a number of them that are not. While any fish will take advantage of a roaming pod, midas and bi-color blenny's to name a couple do not rely on them as their staple. When selecting one of these fish take note of their dietary needs as they are not eaisly if at all adapatable to alternate foods.
