I recently added some PH buffer to my tank and I noticed at the bottom of the tank something great. I saw my DSB produce some bubbles. It looked like it was coming from the bottom of the sand bed not just on the surface.
My tank is only 2 months old and I was told that it takes up to 6 months for the DSB to fully mature. When I bought the tank I added about 45lbs reef sanf and 60 lbs live sand. Does the live sand help it?
Also there were bubbles coming up from the left side of the tank only, not the right or middle. Why?

left side vs. right or middle.. mmm.. probably water flow.. your right side probably has more water flow.. which means a little less water in the sand.. so the left side gets more time to filter the water.. so it will bubble first..
