I think I have Dinoflagellates

Just noticed this afternoon that I have a stringy brown type algae all over my LR and sand. I have the lights off and will be keeping them off for 24 hours and then will slowly increase my photo period back to normal. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of this stuff?? Should I put my fish in a QT tank? It looks like the picture below but not as bad.

get your pH up to around 8.3-8.4 and suck out as much as you can.

i recently scrubbed every single rock out of my 140+lbs of LR and came up with this nastiness while dealing with my dino

Do I need to put everything in QT while I get rid of this stuff? I have 4 fish a nem and 5 pieces of coral.

nope, they'll usually just swim away from you.
IF you feel more comfey, there's no issue putting them in the QT though, but i figured acclimating everything to a qt, then reacclmating them in a few hours to the DT, would stress them out more than just moving all the rock around
just be careful not to squish or break your corals
