I bought a coral with mushrooms on it my LFS said that this would aide in cycling the tank and I he also said that it wouldnt hurt the coral because I was using stability in the tank made by (SEACHEM) I have had this coral for a few days and I had been lookinhg at it (MARVELING) I noticed a crab on my substrate I thought it was alive but its not Im wondering if my tank killed it or if it was dead before the only reason Im in question because of the way it laid in my tank like it just walked out and stopped, I am also wondering if I should remove it of let it stay in the tank. by the way the tank is just getting started cycling it been about 2 weeks.
Check your water parameters. Im sure your ammonia is at peak about now. Thats probably why the crab died. Try not to put any other living creature in the tank until it finish cycle, otherwise you will lose it too.
