:help: there use to be a hole on my lr where this this has grown. the hole use to be atleast an inch deep now its gone. it has grown in a period time of 2 months.

i have a sponge looking thing on my live rock. its grown a lot, but its brown, not grey

I have a couple in my tank as well, a few whites one orange and a red one. The owner of my lfs said they are sponges and act as a filter, so their good.
