I think I've scored...

...now I just need to know what to do with some of it. I read an short obscure ad in the paper about some scuba and aquarium gear for sale. Turns out that this guy bought a ton of equipment from a breeder that went belly-up. His wife wanted the "junk" out of the garage.
I started picking through the stuff, spot checking the function of things, and realized that I was just not going to make up my mind what I wanted. So I bought it all. I completely filled my Suburban with stuff. What I paid would bring tears to your eyes.
Here's a summary of the items:
An acrylic sump (40 gal.)
Several floor mount pumps (industrial strength units)
Several larger submersable pumps (Enheim 1200's)
Several float switches with outlets
Several medium to large fluid sand filters
A biotower
Several quart and gallon size canister filters (powered and unpowered)
A working UV sterilizer!!!
A digital temperature control unit
A digital PH monitor
Two extenral heater units
A dozen power heads
3 new 20gal AllGlass tanks
1 10gal tank
A dozen light hoods.
4 electric waver makers (PH power ocillators)
Several overflow boxed and misc tubing
What I think is equipment to do CO2 injection (it's in German so I can only guess)
2 (count'em) 2 MH ballasts and light fixtures
A bunch more miscellaneous stuff like tubing, valves, outlet timers, heaters...you can imagine. Everything in great condition.
After I beef up my three tanks, I'll sell off the other stuff. Anyone had any experience selling used equipment? Is ---- a good idea or too much hassle? Are there good places to post the stuff for sale?
Thanks!

Hey,
You'd probably step into a pile of manure and find the pony! Great score!
Don't know where you would unload it. Sounds like you just need to set up another tank or two! :D
Take care,
Dan'l :D

Hey Option, do you know of any good LFS's in the portland area? We are taking a trip to the dalles this weekend and would like to check out some different stores. I am tired of getting the runaround from the ones here(and the HIGH prices), so two hours each way isn't too bad for a better store, if I can find one.
Thanks

Thanks for the replies and interest. I am still picking throught the stuff and researching items. Things are getting better all the time. Like I've got 6 full size Ocean Clear canister filters (clean). I didn't really know the application of these things 'til now.
Anyway I will print out the topic and reply to those of you who gave me your email addresses when thing settle a bit. I'll also be posting on the SWF.com classified for cheap.
KDBLEM: Sorry, only one UV unit. It's a keeper.
BTW anyone ever use an under gravel heater before? Is there a reason to use this?
