3 days. I know now my lighting wont support. Not sure about my lighting, only what it says on the bulb.
corallife 50/50 6000k actinic93 F20T12BP
I am extremely new so these numbers mean nothing to me. And I know I have made major mistakes so far.
No, it did not go into a QT. I didn't know these things until today.
I have alot to learn still.

No its not "sick" perse, it is a tad bleached so your lighting should be addressed ASAP. But its normal for them to do what your pics are showing. A spot feeding schedule will help keep it healthy for a while but if your lighting isnt fixed your only prolonging the inevitable.

What would be the proper lighting? I have been reading everything I can find on these boards, but I would really appreciate some input on what lighting would be sufficient for the size aquarium I have. It is a 29g.
Thanks for your quick reply.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Either a 4 bulb HO T5 system like a nova sundial or nova extreme. Or a sunpod 150watt Metal halide fixture also from nova or Current USA actually. You can google them, you need a 30" long fixture. There are other manufactures that are better so depending on how much you want to spend. The Novas are affordable and IMO are a decent product. For your tank I would recomend either one.

You need to see if you can find it an adequately lighted home asap.

I contacted a lfs here in the town where we live and they have agreed to take the anenomes for instore credit. Even though it isn't the store where they were aquired. So, a quick fix to a small problem. No more anenomes until adequate lighting is in place.
Thanks everyone.
