I think my fish have a parasite...how do I treat them?

I have a 29 gallon with eclipse system.
running for 46days (fully cycled)
approx 30lbs of LR
salinity 1.023
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 0
ph 8.0
last water change 9 days ago
5 damsels
4 nassarius snails
6 astria snails
4 blue legged hermits
5 red legged hermits
1 brittle star
1 sea urchin
2 peppermint shrimp
Here is the problem...
My 5 damsels (3 black and white stripes and 2 have yellow heads and pink bodies). It seems all of the damsels are rubbing themselves against the rocks or the glass. I began to notice this last evening and this morning they are all doing it.From what I have read it says they likely have a parasite, however my book doesn't tell me what to do. (I have ordered the Conscientious marine aquarist but don't have it yet)
About 5 days ago, I noticed some white spots on the glass. I can't think of the name of them at the moment but they are little coiled worm like spots. (I read on this site that they were not a bad thing)
I have a QT tank but the water in it is not cycled as I have just set it up with my new 120 gal tank.....plus, they are all damsels and would be murder to catch. Hopefully there is something I can do for them in this tank....
Hopefully I have provided you with enough background.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

? Ph LOW ACID WATER?
IF NO WHITE SPOTS ON FISH AND THEY ARE EATING, COULD BE OK.
MY DAMSELFISH RACE ABOUT AND DO ODD THINGS IN THE SAND AND ON THE GLASS, BUT THEY ARE OK.
DONT PANIC AND DO SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT NEED TO.
LOOK FOR MORE INFO FROM OTHERS ON THIS PAGE
GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the reply...I posted this a few days ago and this is the first response I got. I haven't done anything yet as they are damsels in a tank with LR and I can't medicate the tank andhave nowhere to put them if I removed them from the display tank as my QT isn't cycled yet.
ph is 8.0 , I thought that was a good ph reading..is it low?
