I thought I was the only one on here on christmas morning

it went awesome, I waited untill she was thouroughly distracted cooking herself something to eat, and snuck up behind her and got down on one knee and waited for her to turn around. she almost tripped over me when she did turn around but the look on her face was priceless when she saw the box and ring and me on one knee. I said "Emily hastings, I love you withall of my heart, will you be my wife?"
(took about 45 seconds for her to regain the ability to speak) then she said "Of course I will" what happened after that is not for open discussion.
we told her parents at dinner.... her mom said she knew I was going to propose, her dad was almost suprised but not quite. Emily told me later that she figured I was going to propose but wasnt excpecting it then..... I must really be bad at keeping secrets, everyone knew.

Yep im here too Merry Christmas.....
Did all the fam obligations this past weekend and last night. Today its all about lounging around eating a lot and playing with all my new toys. Hope everyone has a great day...
