when i walk into a room and everybody stops talking and looks right at me.
they always go back about their business, usually in much quieter voices, but still.
i know they are not talking about me. actually, i really dont care if they are. good, actually... keeps me fresh in their minds. its just that initial reaction my body goes through, like, i feel myself get hot for about a minute then i sweat for a minute (once i figure out its not about me).
anyone else?

There is that split second that seams like forever . Where you run through the mental check list of did I . . .
Shower today
Brush my teeth
Zip my fly
Use deodorant
Say something wrong last time I was here
Wipe my face after I ate that plate of hot wings
Do I have a stain on my shirt.
Then you realize that your all good and you proceed with your business until the next guy walks in at which point you look at him for a split second and then go back to what you were doing .

It only matters if the females in the room, after the stare, stop, turn their heads back, have a big grin on their faces, and have trouble trying to restart their conversations. That's what you call a "success."
