I use metal halide bulbs at work. Can I use these same bulbs for my tank?

I am in the construction business and have alot of buildings that I take care and I have access to alot of metal halide bulbs and was wondering if i can use them on my tank. All I know is that they are sylvania and on the box they say MP100/U/MED
64417-0 BALLAST M90. I have some that are white and some that are clear.

If you have a ballast , that would be sweet for the tank. The bulbs will prolly be in a wrong color spectrum for the tank. You could buy some aquarium MH and then use the ballast you have!!!
