i want my clown to host

i have fake purcula and i want it to host my green carpet any tips

I've got a true wild caught perc. and waited almost a year to host my carpet
and they never look at it, I've tryed all the tricks , the picture thing
dividing the tank,

So I just got a real nice clarkii a few weeks ago and within
a half hour, zoom in he went.....

I`ve had some take right away and others take a few months .

Took my two true percs almost 5 months to figure out that their was a BTA to host in. I guess its truely up to the particular clown.
