A few words go a long way. Here is the story. I work in retail as an Operations Manager (pretty much means I am the assistant store manager) and I was given the task of planning our holiday party. The company supplies the budget for food and a gift (cheesy gift). I thought it would be nice for each manager to write a personalized note in a card for each associate. There are 6 managers and 40 associates. Tonight we had the party and each associate got their card. Many of the associates thought the card was awesome. A couple even responded that no one has done something like that. It really made my day.
