icecap digital timer

Ok, so does it matter if I use an icecap timer with an icecap 430
or can I buy one from a local hardware store that is big enough to
handle the amps/watts?? Also, is $40 a good deal on a used timer? thanks

I don't know about the used price but i know alot of people use just regular timers. I use just a regular digital timer from Lowes so really i guess it is up to you and the money you want to spend.
