IceProbe On Aquapod 12g

Anybody ever installed an IceProbe chiller on a 12g aquapod? I recently purchased one for my pod and am reluctant to installing it without any real invasive alterations to the tank other than the 1 1/4" hole that needs to be drilled into the back. Thanks!

Why do you have to drill into the tank? Can't the chiller simply plumb inline with your existing setup?

I don't run a sump, so the only place for the IceProbe to go is in the rear filtration.
