Ok. I have a 20gallon tank with a Clown Percula and a Blue Damsel. The tank also includes 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 hermit crab and 3 turbo snails. I will be upgrading to a 30gallon tank in the next couple of weeks.
I believe I have ICH in my tank judging by the little white spots I see on the clown. The damsel shows no signs. How did I get ICH you might ask. Well I might ask YOU that same question. I did have a small lunare wrasse in there for about two days before I returned it because it was too aggressive. I may have gotten ICH from that. Can ICH be stress induced or does it have to come from an outside source?
I dont have a QT yet. But will be putting one together soon. Most likely a 10gallon to put in my cabinet I am building for my the 30gallon. When I do so, how should I go about treatment of ICH if my fish are still alive?
Should I put the fish in the QT and do a combination of hyposalinity and ICH medication? Or should I move the Inverts and LR into the QT and medicate the Display tank with the fish in it?
Also, what medication should I use? Kent RXP, No-ICH by Fish Vet, What works the best?
