Ich and live rocks

With your help, I was able to rid myself of Ich with hyposalinity, a quarantine tank and cupramine ( cooper ). During the cleaning process,
I removed the fish and all of their friends but I LEFT IN THE LIVE ROCK.
How can you tell if the live rocks are still live and if they are dead, will the inroduction of fresh live rock with my old dead rock will bring the dead rock back to life.

if you used copper with the live rocks in the tank you never want to use them again.if i understand it right they will leach copper back out

Who's help? I hope that no one here actually advised you to use copper in a tank with live rock.
Actually, we generally don't even recommend copper treatment.
The rocks are pretty much dead and because copper is absorbed and contained by porous material [ie: LR], then you can't really reuse it as it will leach copper back into the tank.
If you had placed the rocks in a large rubbermaid with a couple of PH's they would have been fine, and you could have treated your tank and fish successfully using hyposalinity.
