Ich from corals and inverts?

Hi,
I was wondering how common it is for a coral or invert (like a hermit crab) to bring ick into your system?

IMO, its not common. The risk obviously increases, if you buy corals, hard shelled inverts, LR from tanks that have fish in it.

I have never personally heard of a coral or invert bringing in ich, but I have personally had a problem with live rock. I put cured live rock into my tank after only a week of extra curing, and velvet was on my fish within an hour of adding the live rock.
