Looking for some advice. ICH has devasated my tank. It is a fish only tank and I have lost almost all my fish. The tank has only been running for about 2 months so I don't know if that is part of the problem. I cyled with 80lbs of live rock and 80lbs of sand. Ammonia, Nitirte, Nitrate, salinity, PH....perfect!!! It seems like everything I put in there...within a few days gets ICH....I gotta get rid of this stuff. I have tried Kick Ich (no results)....Greenex....(No results)....Formalin (No results). I'm considering Hyposalinity, but my problem is I have no place to store my live rock, sand and inhabitants. What can I do to this main tank to be ICH free???When do I know it's safe????
Tank:
92 gl Oceanic Bowfront
80 lbs fiji live rock
80 lbs live sand
Tunze 230 protein Skimmer
Tunze auto top-off (5017 controller)
Angstrom 8W UV light
Tunze 1200 power head
Eheim return pump
Inhabitants:
20 Scarlet Hermits
1 sand sifting star
2 cleaner shrimp
1 niger trigger (Has ICH)
1 Pakastani butterfly (Has ICH)
The plan was to focus on Angels in this main tank. They seemed to die from what I think is called Pygmy bloat and not as much from the ICH. The fact is everthing is dying and I'm out of ideas...
Lost fish:
Blue face Angel
Queen Angel
Flame Angel
Juvenille Emperator
yellow belly Regal tang
Powder blue tang
